A poor excuse
Editor's Mailbag
By To the editor-
Give me a break. Of all the lame excuses for stopping a Super Wal-Mart, Mr. Gregory Bubp’s claim that it would hinder the ambulance service is perhaps the poorest.
The idea that an ambulance going south would be delayed more by a Super Wal-Mart than one is currently delayed going north by the present shopping complex on North Meridian is ridiculous.
Contrary to Mr. Bubp’s opinion the residents of Jay County have always done an excellent job of clearing the way for emergency vehicles under all circumstances.
We find the implications of his letter to be both personally insulting and insulting to the people of Jay County in general.
Please bring in the Super Wal-Mart as soon as possible.
