Access a problem at some stores (12/27/04)

I just want to give my perspective on a few things I have noticed around town.

There are two places in town that my wife and I liked to eat, but now we can’t are at least I won’t because of the ramp at one and the lighting and placement of carts at the other one.

I don’t mind going to the back to get in, but I won’t fight my way through an obstacle course to get in. And when I eat I like to see how much salt or pepper I use. I liked eating there because they have some killer breadsticks and a hamburger to die for. But it’s too much trouble to get in. Like they say, such is life.

The other one has been remodeled and the ramp up to the sidewalk goes nowhere.

But if you turn to the right while you go up you can get in the building. But that means that you are tipped to the back and then to the left and back. I don’t like being tipped in any direction.

But if you haven’t been dumped and you are still in your chair you have to content with the cars that have the front end about halfway across the sidewalk. If this is the case, then you have to two-wheel in the dirt.

After a rain that is bad news.

I talked to the manager about the parking after the restaurant was open, but nothing was done and I don’t expect anything to get done now, either.

But that’s O.K., most of the people that go there can walk. Like the manager. And owner.

Just one more thing. If you are dealing with LifeStream Services don’t expect too much.

I hope I haven’t offended anyone.

It’s just my opinion.
