ANNA, Ohio - Fort Recovery could have used a little of the offensive lightning that delayed the end of a lopsided defeat.

The Indians, hampered by four turnovers (including three interceptions), couldn't score and couldn't stop the host Rockets consistently Friday, as Anna rolled to a 41-0 victory.

Anna, which improves to 3-2 on the season, didn't score more than 14 points in a quarter, but was consistent. The Rockets took a 21-0 lead into the half, added seven more in the third and scored 14 more in the fourth period.

The Rockets had 335 yards total offense to 235 for Fort Recovery, but picked off Indians' quarterback Toby Metzger three times and also recovered a fumble.

The bright spot offensively for Fort Recovery was running back Matt Tobe, who carried the ball 15 times for 119 yards.

Anna QB Kyle Muehlfeld completed 5-of-11 for 130 yards and four touchdowns, while Fort's Metzger was 14-of-33 for 93 yards.[[In-content Ad]]
