Bantz: Thanks
Editor's Mailbag
By To the editor:-
Thanks, Portland! Thanks for the warm and enthusiastic response to my appearance on “Wheel of Fortune.”
It seemed that everyone — people on the street, at the grocery, at my office, everywhere — was interested and helped to make this an experience I will never forget.
The radio and newspaper interviews with Rob Weaver and Jennifer Wilmes were exceptionally well done and were a lot of fun for me and for those listeners/readers with whom I chatted.
The billboard was a tremendous surprise. Many thanks go to Sherry Brown, Jeanna Ford, and to my co-workers and board members at the credit union. What a great bunch of people to work with.
I have lived in Portland all my life and this just reinforced my feelings about this great place. Thanks again, Portland.
The experience in itself was a great one.
Portland’s response made it even more memorable.
Thanks to Christina for helping to make my dream a reality.
Sincerely,
Janet Bantz
