Bread man a local fixture

Letters to the Editor

To the editor:
I would like to recognize someone who has become a fixture to us and many others in Jay County and the surrounding area.
Someone who I have probably known as long as anyone other than family. Someone who is obviously dedicated to his vocation as evidenced so many times during all kinds of weather. No matter whether it’s a warm, sunny summer day or a severe weather winter day, he will be there if it’s at all possible.
You can regularly get a political discussion if you pursue one — and occasionally if you don’t. You can argue politics or economic policies, whether at the local or national level.
You can get a history lesson and/or a seemingly biographical account of the neighborhood and its residents and how, over the years, they have changed in some respects but stayed the same in others. You can get a weather forecast or give one. However, as he would probably agree, our weather postcasts are the most accurate.

While you are getting all this information, insight and advice, you can also get a loaf or bread or two. You can get a pack of sweet rolls if the urge strikes you. You can even get a can of coffee or a sack of sugar if you find you are running low.
This man is my friend and my bread man, Paul Saxman. Thank you Paul.
Sincerely,
Ed Davidson (and family)
