Four of six bids opened Monday for a bridge replacement project came in well under the estimated cost.
Bids to replace Bridge No. 255, located on Boundary Pike between Antioch and Boundary City near county road 575 South, were opened Monday by the Jay County Commissioners. Four bids came in below the estimated cost of $309,430.26, making the commissioners and the county engineer happy.
