The Jay County Cancer Society released its quarterly report for January, February and March.

WORKSHOPS
Great Lakes Native American Arts and Crafts Workshops will be held at the Freeman Scouting Facility in Portland from June 21 through June 25.
Tentative classes to be held are in beadwork, loom beadwork, storytelling, ribbon work, raised bead work, cane loon flute, coiled pottery, porcupine quillwork, hand painting feathers and assembling them into fans, new born baby moccasins, Native American herbal traditions, bowmaking and gourd hand drum. Class sessions will be held from Monday, June 21, at 9 a.m. to Wednesday, June 23, at noon. Then from Wednesday, June 23, at 1:30 p.m. to Friday at 4:30 p.m. The cost per session is $70, plus a fee for supplies to be paid to the instructor.
