Letters to the Editor
To the editor:
I always enjoy Jack Ronald’s writing in the Commercial Review — sometimes funny, sometimes thought provoking, but always entertaining and informative.
The article in the April 23rd edition of The CR was special though. You see, my older brother, Larry, was the lead singer in the “Jokers “ band Jack mentioned in his story. It was the same band Rick Derringer sang about in his song.
Two of the most memorable weeks of my 12-year-old life were traveling with my brother and the band to the Triangle, as well as Eldora Speedway, and to a little club in Celina, Ohio, that I don’t recall the name of at present.
Thanks for that story Jack. It made my day.
