We Americans are the most blessed people in the world. We possess freedoms other people only dream of.
But with the blessings comes a very clear responsibility to do whatever one can to ensure we keep these freedoms.
We can do this by being informed about what our government is doing, voicing our concerns and getting to know the candidates for government officers and thier positions on the important issues, as well as praying for wisdom and discernment and voting in each and every election.
Several opportunities are available to meet the candidates.
On Oct. 9, from 1-2 p.m. at the Key Palace Theatre in Redkey, we have an opportunity to meet Bill Davis, who is the Republican candidate for District 33 State Representative.
I invite you to come, enjoy the unique Key Palace Theatre and meet a fine gentleman.
