Cost of Fort lunches will not increase (07/12/06)
Fort Recovery School Board
FORT RECOVERY — School lunch prices will be unchanged in the coming school year, but a small increase in pre-school tuition was approved by the Fort Recovery Local School Board Tuesday evening.
Board members approved a tuition schedule that calls for a charge of $25 per month for in-district tuition for children whose families fall between 101 percent and 185 percent of the poverty level. That’s an increase of $3 per month over last year.
Similar increases are reflected in the schedule for other children, with the highest being out-of-district four-day-per-week tuition of $116 per month.
Student fees for elementary and middle school students will remain at $40, the same as last year.
The board hired Diana Rammel as middle school head volleyball coach and Tammy Post as middle school assistant volleyball coach. Tammy Huntsman, Erica Staugler, Jamie Albers, Marna McAbee, Kathryn Gonzalez, Kimberly Niekamp, Bob Heitkamp, and Laura Heitkamp were hired as summer school teachers.
Pam Fullenkamp was hired as summer school aide, and Kathy Schweiterman was hired as sports medicine club adviser.
In other business, the board accepted the resignation of Mark Fenik as special education teacher.[[In-content Ad]]
