Steve and Penny Haines, Berne, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Nichole Joan to Jeffrey Marc Summersett, the son of Kip and Linda Summersett, Berne. The couple plan to exchange vows on Oct. 20 at First Missionary Church in Berne.
Nichole is a graduate of South Adams High School and Indiana Wesleyan University. She works as a registered nurse at Jay County Hospital.
