Davis will run again (02/01/06)
State Representative Bill Davis filed Tuesday to seek re-election to the House District 33 seat he has held since 2004.
Davis, a Republican, captured the seat from longtime Representative Ron Liggett.
Liggett also announced earlier in January his plans to try to retake the seat he held from 1992 until his defeat in 2004.
Davis currently represents residents in Jay County as well as portions of Delaware and Randolph counties.
The only other filing in the Jay County Clerkâs office since Tuesday was Walter R. Rodgers, 10745 West 300 South, Dunkirk, who filed for a seat as Democrat Precinct Committeeman.[[In-content Ad]]
