Demeaning`

Evan Bayh has just demeaned the illustrious office of United States Senator from the state of Indiana by running a political advertisement that uses one of the slimiest tricks in the Democrat playbook. If your opponent challenges your voting record and you have no legitimate response to the charge, you simply call your opponent a liar and hope the unwarranted attack sticks. Bayh couldn't even say what the lie was supposed to be because there was none.

Bayh's record speaks for itself. In the Senate he voted with President Clinton 94 percent of the time. In 2003 Senator Bayh voted against President Bush 45 percent of the time. In a recent vote he proved that he is as solidly anti-gun as Clinton, Kerry, and Schumer. And he stands shoulder to shoulder with Kennedy, Daschle, and Kerry in their unconstitutional filibuster to keep judges on the Appellate and Supreme Courts who support the so called rights to abortion, sodomy, freedom from religion, and the 9th Circuit decision that only active members of the National Guard are protected by the Second Amendment.
