Former residents thank community
Letters to the Editor
To the editor:
My wife and I say thanks to Jay County for all the good news in the July 3 Commercial Review.
When we read all the world’s news with all the killing and disruptions it sickens us.
When we read of the Jay Co. Fair, the coming tractor show, the magnificent pictures of the Salamonia Bridge, all the recent school pictures, the Haynes memorial, the John Jay Center, the memorial plaza, the Jim Bob McEwen story of the Chelsea Michigan music program (where we are living) and Brian Williamsons report it is beyond relief. We include the government people doing their jobs, the Plant, Hoe and Hope decorators as well as many unnamed. We salute all the planning, dedication and time involved.
We include all the store adds, business contributions both inside the county lines and where it all spills over. It makes us proud and grateful for our community.
