FR celebrating FFA
Fort Recovery FFA kicked off its National FFA Week celebration today and has events scheduled throughout the week.
The group opened its celebration today with a Greenhand Initiation. It welcomed 23 first-year members who have earned their Greenhand FFA Degree.
The main community event of the week is scheduled for Wednesday with a breakfast from 6 to 8 a.m. at Fort Recovery High School. FFA members will serve breakfast, and there will also be a truck drive-in with awards for loudest, oldest, newest, cleanest, dirtiest and most miles.
Students will drive their tractors to school Tuesday, with awards similar to those for the truck drive-in.
Students from preschool through second grade will visit the high school for a petting zoo from 9 to 2:45 a.m. Thursday, and the Ag Olympics are scheduled for 2:14 to 3:15 p.m. Friday at Fort Site Fieldhouse.[[In-content Ad]]
