A Fort Recovery graduate’s work on the glass helped the Findlay men’s basketball team to a big win in its first game of the Grand Canyon Classic Thursday.
Tyler Niekamp, a 2003 FRHS grad, grabbed a team-high seven rebounds as the NCAA Division II No. 25 Oilers defeated Benedictine 78-60. His effort on the boards led his team to a 40-26 rebounding advantage.
He also shot 2-of-3 for four points while adding one assist and one steal in 15 minutes.[[In-content Ad]]
