FRHS to get welder (02/11/2009)
Fort Recovery School Board
FORT RECOVERY - A $4,000 donation from the FFA Alumni Association to purchase a welder for use in the vocational agriculture program was accepted by the Fort Recovery School Board Tuesday. The funds were raised in conjunction with the Gifts of Grain program.
Following an executive session, the board agreed to hire Chris Summers as head track coach at Fort Recovery High School. Jody James Wendel was hired as assistant baseball coach.
In other business, the board:
•Accepted the retirement resignation of Mary Rhoades as assistant cook effective March 21.
•Accepted donations of $250 each from Wendel Poultry to the show choir and high school band.
•Set a work session for 6 p.m. on March 10, followed by a regular board meeting at 7:30 p.m.[[In-content Ad]]
