Geneva budget adopted (09/16/06)

GENEVA - The budget for 2007 was adopted as presented Friday afternoon at a meeting of the Town Council.
As outlined at a pre-adoption hearing, the budget calls for a general fund of $4480,337, a motor vehicle and highway fund of $221,880, a cumulative fire fund of $10,000, a cumulative capital development fund of $35,500, a cumulative capital improvement fund of $6,000, a local road and street fund of $20,000, a local law fund of $1,000, and an economic development income tax fund of $62,500.
In other business, new deputy marshal Wesley F. Haight was sworn in by clerk-treasurer Doug Milligan.[[In-content Ad]]
