Here’s to laughter and song!
The Chinese say a picture is worth a thousand words ... we beg to differ.
We attended Arts Place on Friday night to enjoy H.M.S. Pinafore and observed when the words, the songs, the dancing and the music are all combined, they outnumber any picture.
For those who have not seen it, please try. The whole production is beyond “amateur night.” Any community would be proud to have such an event. We recommend it highly, so if you miss it, in Dick Deadeye’s own words, “I’ve told you so.”
Go and enjoy.

(Editor’s note: The play will be presented Friday (Sept. 5) at 7 p.m., and at 2 and 7 p.m. on Saturday.)[[In-content Ad]]
