Great event

The recent “12 Days of Christmas” on November 20 was a great idea.
As a child I remember going to downtown Portland to shop, waiting at the crosswalks until they said “walk.”
In today’s busy world children are either left at home when we have errands to run or we shop out of town. It was a great experience to walk from business to business with my daughter.
We had a great tour of the AIDS Task Force facility, found out that Sandy at Cases and Spaces has a great variety of treasures, enjoyed the treats provided at Raymond James, loved the decorating at Cellular One, and stocked up on the chocolate provided by the Portland Forge Credit Union. And we can’t forget Santa at Strohl’s.
I’d like to thank everyone who took the time to decorate, provide treats and give greetings to us. If this becomes an annual event I recommend that next year everyone come out and enjoy Portland’s assets.
