Habitat asks for your help

To the editor:
Habitat for Humanity of Jay County has set a date of Aug. 3 for our Blitz Build. If all goes well, the home will be totally enclosed and the doors locked at the end of the day.
To make that happen, we need your help. If you or a group would like to help that day to put a well-deserving family in this home, call Gail at (260) 251-1246 or Jeb at (260) 726-4660. Lunch will be served.
We could also use your monetary support. It costs approximately $35 per square-foot and we are several square-feet short to complete the home. Please send your contributions to: Habitat for Humanity of Jay County, 323 S. Meridian St., Portland, IN, 47371.
This will be our 10th home in Jay County, and with ten more it is possible to be self-supporting. These homes all have economic value to our communities and make a great way to serve our neighbors.
