Health care reform requires trust
Letters to the Editor
To the editor:
Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi got it right as depicted in The Commercial Review last week.
She said, in effect: Since the health care bill up for a vote is so voluminous and difficult to please everyone, let alone to understand it fully, and so just vote it into law anyway. There is ample time in the future to judge its efficacy of the events relating to health in the nation.
A good measure of trust will go a long away to ensure success for the new law.
Trust is the word for today and tomorrow, like it has been since the inception in 1776 of our nation.
Hard work, daring feats, faith, and dreams of a successful future, and trust in one another made for a tremendous America we have today!
People get married, raise families, pick out a career, with a huge trust in the future.
Citizens elect a president and trust in the future for a better America. We're lucky! We've got President Obama!
We are at a crossroads in America.
As Democrats and Republicans vote their consciences, the American people hope, pray, dream, and trust for a prosperous, healthful life and retirement.
This goes for new and prospective citizens also.

The Jayland Carving Club, meeting at the Jay Community Center, would like to say thank you for The Portland Foundation grant.
We will use the money for gouges and carving knives to be used to help us bring the joy of carving and creating useful and decorative items to new members.
