Heffners to celebrate
Lew and Vera Heffner, 776 S. Joan Dr., Portland, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today.
Lew married Vera Riedel on May 26, 1961, at the First Presbyterian Church in Portland with Pastor Robert B. Clark officiating.
Vera works part time for Bearcreek Farms and Lew retired as vice president of sales at Portland Forge.
They are the parents of Carolyn Tilford (husband: Trent), Bloomington, Sandra Aich (husband: Jim), Corydon, and Jessica Chapala (husband: Matt), Indianapolis. They have seven grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The couple plan to celebrate with a trip to Florida.[[In-content Ad]]
