Indian defense strong vs. ’Skins (10/28/05)

ST. HENRY, Ohio — The Indians’ defense came to play Thursday.
Fort Recovery’s junior high football teams each had dominating defensive efforts in victories over the St. Henry Redskins. The Indian eighth graders took a 6-0 win while the seventh grade team defeated St. Henry 18-0.
Greg Kahlig was responsible for the lone points in the eighth grade game. He scored on a 3-yard run in the fourth quarter to give Fort Recovery the victory.
The seventh grade team got a pair of touchdowns in the second quarter starting with a 20-yard run by Craig Kaiser. Shane Brunswick staked the Indians to a 12-0 halftime lead when he hit Kyle Schmitz with a 13-yard touchdown pass.
Brunswick added a 2-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.[[In-content Ad]]
