Indians fall 4-0 to Parkway (05/10/06)

ROCKFORD, Ohio — The Parkway Panthers stopped Fort Recovery’s baseball team at three straight wins, topping the visiting Indians 7-0 Tuesday.
Fort Recovery (12-10, 3-5 Midwest Athletic Conference) managed just three hits, including a double by Troy Metzger. Tony Diller and Kevin Schoenherr each added a single.
Clint Tobe took the loss, allowing five runs — three earned — on seven hits in 51/3 innings. He struck out five and walked one.
Dan Heitkamp gave up two runs in the final two-thirds of an inning.
Junior varsity
The Indians finished with just a pair of hits in a 4-0 loss to visiting Parkway Tuesday.
Craig Garman gave up four runs — two earned — on eight hits in the defeat. He struck out three batters.
