The Indians fired up the steamroller Friday night, flattening host Edgerton 56-29.
Fort Recovery was in the groove from 3-point range, hitting half its long balls in the first half and 45 percent for the game.
Clint Tobe led the Indians with 19 points, knocking down 8 of 14 field goals and connecting on 3 of 5 from 3-point range. Greg Kahlig was close behind with 15, thanks to a 3 of 4 performance from 3-point range. Toby Metzger matched Kahlig's efficiency from 3-point range and ended up with 13 points.
Ethan Schroeder led for Edgerton, scoring 13.
The Indians jumped out in front early and led 24-9 at the half. They downshifted in a slower second period to go into the half up 30-13.
The third quarter saw Fort Recovery lengthen its lead by outscoring Edgerton 14 to 6 to move ahead 44-19. A 12-10 fourth quarter made it 56-29.
In the JV contest, it was Fort Recovery 35, Edgerton 20. Josh Wendel led for the Indians with 16 points. Brady Kahlig had 9 and Craig Tobe 7.[[In-content Ad]]
