Inman to lead JJCL
Rusty Inman, a graduate of Ball State University and Jay County High School, has been named executive director of John Jay Center for Learning.
Inman, a Portland resident, will begin his duties Monday.
He replaces Cindy Cash, who resigned to take a position at Ball State University. Board member Jennifer Inman served as interim director.
Inman, who has spent more than 15 years in sales, is also co-owner of Inman U-Loc Storage.
Rob Weaver was the inaugural director of John Jay, which is a community education center. JJCL partners with Ivy Tech Community College, Indiana Wesleyan University, Vincennes University and Jay School Corporation to provide education to those in Jay and nearby counties.
Programs range from degrees to adult basic education and general education development (GED).
“We are thrilled to have Rusty as our next executive director,” Brian Ison, president of the JJCL board, said in a statement Friday. “The board feels that he is the right person to lead the organization into the future.”[[In-content Ad]]
