Input sought on schedule at JCHS (09/07/06)
A public meeting will be held Tuesday for community input on the structure of the Jay County High School schedule.
Jay School Board members identified a review of the current block schedule system at JCHS as one of their goals for 2006-2007 during discussions this spring.
In June, the board directed Superintendent Barbara Downing to select a consultant to study the high school's master schedule. And in August, the board contracted Dr. Greg Ulm of Indiana State University to do the job.
Ulm is now seeking parent and community input as a part of his study.
The meeting on the high school's master schedule is set for 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the JCHS auditorium. School officials encouraged all interested parents and community members to attend and share their views.[[In-content Ad]]
