Jay Schools to provide summer lunch program
Jay Schools will again participate in the Summer Food Service Program, which provides free meals to children, from June 13 to July 29.
Children 18-and-younger and those older than 18 who are enrolled in state-approved educational programs for the mentally or physically disabled can receive a free lunch at four county elementary schools.
Anyone else attending a lunch session can purchase a meal for $3.25.
Lunches will be served at Westlawn, Redkey, Judge Haynes and Pennville elementary schools. Meals will be offered from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday from June 13 to July 29, with the exception of July 4 and 5.
