A Jay County High School graduate was honored recently for another outstanding effort on the cross country course.

The senior was finished in 18 minutes, 49.64 seconds to finish sixth in the field of 225 runners. She was nearly 50 seconds ahead of the No. 2 runner from the Trojans, who were sixth out of 19 teams.
