Kahlig helps UNOH to title
Collegiate Check-up
After losing seven in a row, the Racers have found their groove.
With 2012 Fort Recovery High School graduate Kylie Kahlig playing a key roll, the University of Northwestern Ohio women’s basketball team has won three four of its last five games. The last two of those came in Las Vegas as the Racers won the Las Vegas Hoopla Tournament.
Kahlig hit a 3-pointer and scored seven points for the Racers (5-9) in their 88-51 semifinal victory over Bethesda. She also had five rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal.
The freshman totaled two points, five rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal as UNOH topped Dillard 67-60 in the championship game.

Helped the University of Northwestern Ohio to the championship at the Las Vegas Hoopla Tournament.
Pottkotter grabbed two rebounds to go along with one assist and one steal in the Racers’ 78-66 victory Dec. 20 over Occidental in the semifinal game. He had two rebounds and one assist as UNOH (8-5) won the championship game 73-69 over Presentation.
Megan Taylor
Jay County – 2011
Was one of 23 Manchester University athletes who were honored recently by the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Taylor and three of her teammates on the Spartan cross country team earned All-HCAC Academic honors. The award goes to athletes who are on varsity squads and have a grade point average of at least 3.5.[[In-content Ad]]
