Kahlig records double-double

Collegiate Check-up

Kylie Kahlig recorded a double-double Wednesday in the University of Northwestern Ohio women’s basketball team’s 72-64 loss to Concordia.
The 2011 Fort Recovery High School graduate hit both of her three-point tries and finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds. She added two assists and a steal for the Racers (13-12).
The sophomore also had 10 points, seven rebounds and a steal in Saturday’s 90-76 win over Aquinas.

Kegan Comer
Jay County – 2013
Was one of three players to score in double figures Wednesday in the NAIA Division II No. 11 men’s basketball team’s 81-80 loss to 17th-ranked Bethel.
Comer shot 4-of-7 from the field to finish with 12 points, and had a team-high four assists. He also had a steal.
The freshman also had five points and a rebound as the Cougars (17-8) fell 81-80 Saturday to No. 9 Indiana Wesleyan.

Neal Fennig
Jay County – 2011

Was part of a winning relay Saturday in the Ball State University men’s swim team’s 178-103 loss to Buffalo.
Fennig joined Michael Oaks, Austin Green and Cole Smith to take the top spot in the 400-yard freestyle in 3 minutes, 13.3 seconds. He was also fifth in the 200 freestyle in 1:47.89 and the 100 freestyle in 49.12

Erin Hunt
Jay County – 2011
Led the Bethel College women’s basketball team in assists Monday in an 80-63 victory over Spring Arbor.
Hunt dished out four assists and also helped the Pilots (10-14) to a 30-24 advantage on the glass with five rebounds. She added five points and a steal.
The junior had three points, three rebounds and an assists in Wednesday’s 76-44 loss to NAIA Division II No. 1 St. Francis.

Scott Schwieterman
Jay County – 2013
Started for the Anderson University men’s basketball team in Saturday’s 62-60 loss to Franklin.
Schwieterman shared the team high of three assists for the Ravens (4-15). He also had four points.[[In-content Ad]]
