Kenney perfect in Monon Bell Duals
Collegiate Check-up
The University of Indianapolis wrestling team had a losing day at the Monon Bell Duals. But Casey Kenney more than pulled his weight at the event hosted by Wabash College.
The 2009 Jay County High School graduate turned in a perfect day with a 4-0 record.
Three of Kenney's victories came by pin, including a win in 6 minutes, 49 seconds in the 133-pound match over Chris Heiss of Wilmington in the lone triumph for the Greyhounds on the day.
The quickest win of the day for Kenney came as he bumped up to 141 pounds against Calumet College of St. Joseph. He cruised past Nick Fouts with a pin in 1:43.
In other matches at 133 pounds, Kenney defeated Oscar Trujillo of the host Little Giants in 2:45 and beat Charles Holmquest of Manchester with a 22-5 technical fall.
Tyler Rigby

Turned in his 10th consecutive 20-point performance Tuesday for the Indiana University - East men's basketball team in a loss to Cincinnati Christian.
Rigby racked up 30 points in the defeat as he has bumped his scoring average up to 18.6 for the season. He shot 11-of-17 with three 3-points in the defeat. He also had four rebounds and three steals for the Red Wolves (11-9).
The junior totaled 20 points on 8-of-15 shooting Saturday as IU-East dominated Saint Louis College 83-46. He totaled four 3-pointers, six rebounds, three assists, three steals and one block.
Joanna Snyder

Had an outstanding game off the bench Wednesday to help lead the Ohio Northern University women's basketball team to a 70-62 victory over Capital.
Snyder shot 4-of-6 from the field, 4-of-4 from the line and made her only 3-point try to finish with 13 points as the Polar Bears handed Capital just its second Ohio Athletic Conference loss. He also had five rebounds, two assists and two steals.
The freshman totaled 11 points Saturday in ONU's 79-72 loss to Otterbein. She was perfect at the foul line (4-for-4) and had three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block.
Cori Vormohr

Placed sixth in the 100-yard breaststroke Sunday for the Ball State women's swim team in the five-team Butler Meet.
Vormohr posted a time of 1 minute, 10.67 seconds for her sixth-place effort as the Cardinals defeated Youngstown State, Eastern Illinois, Valparaiso and the host Bulldogs. She added a seventh-place effort in the 100 butterfly in 1:03.88.
The freshman also joined Emily Richards, Katarina Faxe and Joan Cullen for a fourth-place time of 1:57.01 in the 200 medley relay.
Vormohr was seventh Saturday in both the 100 breaststroke in 1:10.42 and the 500 freestyle in 5:33.7. She teamed with Chelsea Giuffre, Morgan Baumgartle and Faxe for third in the 200 freestyle relay in 1:47.85.

Finished 13th in his lone individual event Friday for the Indiana Tech men's track team at the Bob Eubanks open hosted by Grand Valley State.
Reynard finished third in his heat of the 400-meter dash and 13th with a time of 51.53 seconds. He also teamed with David Army, Russell Dill and Dan Haught for a time of 3 minutes, 24.27 seconds and a fifth-place finish in the 4x400 relay.[[In-content Ad]]
