On behalf of The Pennville American Legion and auxiliary, I want to thank the Pennville Volunteer Fire Department on the tremendous job they did on putting out the fire in our home.
Had it not been for their quick response and expertise in attacking the fire, it would have been devastating.
They not only contained the fire, but after returning to the station and cleaning their equipment for another call, they returned to the scene of the fire and boarded up windows and doors to secure the premises.
They are heroes.
God bless them all.
