Legislators should do their jobs (3/5/05)

I’m writing today about our (Indiana) house and senate that walked out in (Indianapolis) and didn’t vote on a bill that would set the clocks forward one hour. I can’t believe they walked out about that. And they fight like it’s their money. It’s not. It’s our tax money.
How many questionaires did they send out about changing the time? And how many did they get back? What was the percentage for and against?
One thing I learned in high school was: We the people of the United States of America. When people do not work together things can not get done. But it costs we taxpayers money to have adults fight like kids.
What will happen to the other 132 bills?
