Let's all work together
Letters to the Editor
To the editor:
Regarding the rescue of miners in Chile, the fact that more than a dozen countries contributed technology makes one wonder. If nations would put their differences aside, what could be accomplished on God’s green earth would be practically limitless.

Thinking
To the editor:
I was just sitting here thinking as the fire alert went off. What if I got caught in a fire and burned?
They say that it only takes a few minutes to burn up in a trailer. So another thought hit my mind and I worked an awful lot of time fixing it up just the way I wanted it to be. All that work burned up in minutes.
Just think, what good would it be that time wasted and burned up. Clothes, furniture, food and shelter, gone. Like Hurricane Katrina, gone with nothing left.
The hours I invested in going to the store getting what I wanted then putting it just the way it goes. Hours of sweat and a lot of tears not meeting deadlines. You know, the deadline that says I want it done now and now never comes.
We all do it. We work years to accomplish our goals. What do we have to show for it? A piece of paper that has our name at the top in big bold letters. Maybe you have two to three houses. What would happen if it was all gone in a blink of an eye. What would you have to show for it? Nothing. That is the answer. What is the question? Why do we waste time doing the times we had to do for money? Is it worth it? No.
If we open our Bibles and start to read we will discover the fountain of youth and freedom from chains that bind. The fear the world wants you to hold will disappear. You will learn to live life at the fullest and you will begin to see miracles happen.
Only through obedience can His miracles flow. The world has us too busy worrying about tomorrow. In my Bible it says tomorrow will take care of itself. God doesn’t lie. Remember: B-U-S-Y is “Being Under Satan’s Yoke.” Judgment is coming. What works are you going to have in heaven? Or for that matter, how many people have you told about God?
I am not talking to the sinners. I am talking to us so-called Christians. You know, the scared, terrified Christians. The ones giving sugar-coated messages just to get a crowd. The truth will set you free, and that truth is Jesus. What you have is given to you to share with others. So give and give some more till you hurt. Then and only then will you find Him.
He shared everything. He even gave His life for you and me. Christian means Christ-like. The reason the blind can’t see is because we let our light out. So get off your hind end and bring in the flow. They are starving for the truth. If you have no one to go with, you take the step of faith and dare to being a crusade to help the needy and visit the widows and orphans.
It only takes a spark to get a fire going. Get on fire for God. Just sitting here thinking.
Look at what we let come in. In my Bible is says just like the days of Noah, your time, dear Christian, is ticking away. God is at your door saying, “though fool, your soul is required of you this night.”
Speak up for morals. Bring them back and give your throat a loud voice for God.
