Liggett files for a re-match (01/20/06)
Ron Liggett, state representative of House District 33 from 1992 to 2004, officially filed paperwork Thursday with the Indiana Secretary of State to try to reclaim the seat he lost in the 2004 election to Portland businessman, Bill Davis.
Davis currently represents residents in Jay, Randolph, and a portion of Delaware counties in the state legislature.
Others filing Thursday afternoon in the Jay County Clerkâs office for the Jay County primary election were: Gordon Kesler, 11559 West Ind. 26, Dunkirk, Democrat, seeking re-election as Knox Township Trustee; Amanda A. Phillips, 1606 North 400 East, Portland, Democrat, seeking reelection as Noble Township Trustee; Gerald M. Miller, 8831 N. Broadway, Bryant, Democrat, Wabash Township Trustee, a seat currently held by Gerald Miller, Democrat; and Charles Lamken, 4374 West 900 South, Ridgeville, a Republican seeking reelection to a seat on the Jefferson Township board.
