Loss will be felt by community
Letters to the Editor
To the editor:
Our hearts are saddened by the tragic loss of David Miller. None of us will ever understand why God called such a good person home so soon. We do know that it’s always on His timetable and not ours. If only we knew why.
He was a great husband, father, son and brother, and if you were fortunate, he was your friend. I know he was mine.
I met David years ago when I was doing some work for his parents. He was farming then and enjoying every minute of it. After my work was finished I didn’t see much of him.
I knew he was flying, but our paths never crossed until a few months back when I felt like he could use a voice (of support). He couldn’t have been any more appreciative.
We became fast friends over the phone between his flights.
He loved flying, and I’ve been told he was a top-notch pilot. It was a lifelong dream for him and he fulfilled it to the brim.
Since his death I hardly hear any planes flying out of the airport and when I do, I think of David.
He’s flying with the angels now, and giving them that million-dollar smile. He left us way too soon.
Why? I don’t know, but he will be missed by many.
