Money moved for use in 2014
BERNE — Year-end finances and facility requests made up the bulk of a short session of South Adams School Board on Tuesday evening.
The board approved two resolutions, reducing the 2013 appropriation for the schools’ general fund and capital projects fund so the money can roll over into the 2014 budget.
The general fund was reduced $488,753, and the board reduced capital projects by $231,886.
“(It will) give us more cushion for next year,” said superintendent Scott Litwiller.
The board also approved Sunday facility requests for the baseball team to conduct volunteer youth pitching lessons and two overnight requests for the wrestling team to have overnight stays during Indianapolis-area matches on Dec. 28 and Jan. 4.[[In-content Ad]]
