Moore leads Bluffton
Collegiate Check-up
In their first three games, the Bluffton University women’s soccer team suffered a pair of 1-0 losses. A South Adams High School graduate has helped turn those results around.
Maddie Moore led the Beavers to a 3-1 victory Wednesday over Muskingum, giving them their second straight win to improve to 3-2.
Moore ended any chance of a Muskingum come back, when she knocked in an unassisted goal with just over seven minutes to play to give Bluffton a 3-1 lead. She shared the team high of six shots with Catie White of Lima, Ohio.
The sophomore also had one shot on goal Saturday as the Beavers defeated Goshen 1-0. She took two shots Friday in a 1-0 loss to Eastern Mennonite.
