Moore scores 2nd

Collegiate Check-up

A former Starfire helped the Beavers to their latest win as they continue what is on pace to be the best season in team history.
Maddie Moore, a 2009 South Adams High School graduate, scored a goal Monday in the Bluffton University women’s soccer team’s 4-0 victory over Rochester.
Moore connected on a goal less than five minutes into the second half to push the Beavers’ lead to 3-0. She finished the game with two shots on goal, and also attempted one shot Saturday as the team defeated Anderson 4-0.
Off to a 6-3-1 start, Bluffton is hoping for its first winning season in school history. The Beavers’ best seasons came with 8-9 marks in 1999 and 2009, and they were 7-9-2 a year ago.
Moore is tied for third on the Bluffton squad with two goals. She also has a pair of assists.
