To the editor:
I want to thank the Hollow Block Cruisers and everyone who helped out with the wonderful car show.
When you go through an accident like we have, you realize how many people are out there that care.
I don't know how we would be making it without the support of the community.
Life gets so busy sometimes you just need to sit back and realize what you do have.
The Hollow Block Cruisers put on a great car show. We had a wonderful day. Madison got to ride in her favorite car. She had such a good time.
We want to thank everyone for everything that they have done. God bless everyone.

To the editor:
My wife and I wanted to write this letter to tell the community of Portland what a great city they live in.
Your mayor, Bruce Hosier, is a visionary that thinks outside the box.
Mayor Hosier has looked into the future when creating the new park that will make the southeast side of your city come alive with trails, play area and a outdoor amphitheater where the residents of Portland will be able to enjoy the programs and the company of each other to the tunes of local entertainment.
Your library is a state of the art facility that brings more people to your community to stay than you may realize.
You have an industrial park that is waiting for new development that will come your way as Mayor Hosier continues to promote his plan.
As a mayor in a community a lot like yours, I know that we start to take for granted all of the positives that a city presents because we see it each and everyday.
I find the idea of housing your Chamber of Commerce, economic development and all of your planning departments under one roof a interesting project that I plan on trying to implement back in my city of Frankfort.
My wife and I truly enjoyed our visit to your city.
After meeting with Mayor Hosier, you are blessed to have a mayor of his caliber.
