PCC: Thanks for golf help

Editor's Mailbag

By To the editor:-

What a wonderful golf marathon the Pregnancy Care Center had this past Monday (July 12). The weather was just beautiful and the 100 holes each golfer played sure made me tired.

Thanks to the generous support of our hole sponsors (Knights of Columbus, Hilltop Farm Bed and Breakfast, Miller Aviation, Progressive Office Products, Arch Bridge Kroozers, Vormohr Medical Center, Moser Engineering, Gamma Nu, Loy’s Auction, J&P Custom Plating/Collegiate Pride, Mike’s Rent-All, Curves, Createc, Habegger Ace Hardware, Hunt’s Emporium, Kappa Kappa Kappa, Jay County Hospital, First National Bank, Tyson, Fullenkamp Machine, Adams Physical Therapy, FCC, Dunn Family Dental Care, Delta Theta Tau and Brian Hutchison) we will be capable of helping so many families.

Many thanks to our golfers, caddies, volunteers, board members and to the many fine folks that made pledges to support our golfers. We were able to receive an outstanding total of more than $6,000. This will make it possible to continue to offer our free, confidential services to many families.

The following businesses helped provide door prizes for our golfers: Clear Chiropractic, REMC, Ja-mar, Display Craft, Medler Furniture, Photography by Giles (Laux), LPL, NAPA, Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home, Dr. Tatman, Dr. Miller and Preferred Family Physicians.

This is truly a wonderful community, one that I am so very proud to be a member of. We are very blessed to have such support and love given to our Pregnancy Care Center.

Special thanks to WPGW and to this newspaper for allowing our information to be brought to this community.

Sincerely,

Patty Johnston, director,

The Pregnancy Care Center
