Peterson, Young to wed (07/27/05)

Kendra Diane Peterson and Jason Kelly Young are planning an Oct. 1 wedding at Church of the Brethren in Portland.

A 1994 graduate of Jay County High School, Kendra received a bachelor’s degree in sports medicine/athletic training from the University of Charleston, W.Va. She is finishing her master’s degree in kinesiology and health promotion at the University of Kentucky and is employed by Taylor’d Wear as a sales representative. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Michael Peterson, Portland.

Jason graduated from Washington County High School in 1996 and earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Kentucky in 2001. He is a design and test engineer for Lexmark and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Young, Springfield, Ky., and Ms. Angela McDonnell, Bardstown, Ky.
