Post-flood kindness
Letters to the Editor
This is a letter to let everyone know about a really good thing that has resulted from the flood.
I have found out that my (business) neighbors a couple doors down from us are a really good and caring couple — Brian and Shelly Rippy of B&S Excursions. I did not even know their names before the flood.
They told John and I (more than once) we could display our new spring merchandise in their business while we were working on things here at our store.
They even gave us a key to their business building. They did not get water or moisture in theirs.
After wading in water up to our knees, we just said “yes” to a warm, dry place for our spring arrivals.
Thank you so much Brian and Shelly. We are still saying thank you to our family and friends, and God bless you all.
