Pottkotter leads Polar Bears
Collegiate Check-up
GRANVILLE, Ohio — Nicole Pottkotter didn’t play in the Polar Bears’ first four matches of the year. But she thrived when she got on the court Tuesday.
The 2010 Fort Recovery High School graduate led the Ohio Northern University volleyball team to a 25-14, 25-16, 25-22 victory over Denison.
Pottkotter, who has worked her way back after tearing the ACL in her left knee in the FRHS girls basketball team’s sectional championship game in February, started at setter for the Polar Bears and racked up 27 assists. She also had three digs, two blocks, one kill and one ace.
Ohio Northern improved to 5-0 with the win over Denison and is ranked ninth in Division III.[[In-content Ad]]
