FRHS baseball
FORT RECOVERY - There's nothing like a lights out pitching effort to key a big conference victory.
Senior Bobby Rammel gave the Fort Recovery High School baseball team just that Tuesday night, shutting down the New Knoxville Rangers in a 2-0 Indian victory.
The Tribe bats didn't do much, totaling four hits, but they didn't need to with Rammel working his magic on the hill. He tossed a one-hit shutout, with just two walks while racking up 11 strikeouts.
Sophomore Greg Kahlig had half of Fort Recovery's hits and drove in a run. Travis Hart doubled and scored once.
Nate Keller had a run, Frank Thien drove in a run and Rammel added a hit.[[In-content Ad]]
