Rigby racks up 36 for IU-East

The Indiana University East men’s basketball all-time leading scorer has already done plenty to extend his record.
Tyler Rigby, a 2006 Jay County High School graduate, tallied a career-high 36 points Tuesday as he helped the Red Wolves to a 115-113 double overtime victory over Ohio Christian.
The senior finished 13-of-25 from the field with three 3-pointers and added seven free throws before missing the second overtime after fouling out. He posted a double-double as he also grabbed 10 rebounds, and added four assists and a steal.
Rigby also had a team-high 14 points in IU-East’s season-opening victory over Temple Baptist. He finished with five rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal.
Aaron Daniels
Jay County – 2008
Recorded his first interception Saturday in the Franklin College football team’s 69-10 victory over Anderson.
Daniels halted the final Anderson drive with an interception in the end zone on a fourth-and-goal play from the 1-yard line. He also had three tackles in the Grizzlies’ victory.

Fort Recovery – 2007
Helped the NCAA Division I No. 17 University of Dayton women’s volleyball team to a 25-23, 25-19, 20-25, 25-12 victory Sunday over George Washington.
Gaerke totaled four kills, three digs and one block in the Flyers’ 15th consecutive victory. The senior also had four digs and an assist Friday as Dayton defeated Xavier in three games.

Made one tackle Saturday for the NCAA Division III No. 8 Trine University football team as it rolled to a 51-14 victory over Olivet.
The Thunder is undefeated at 8-0 and is 4-0 in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Maddie Moore
South Adams – 2009
Took half of the Bluffton University women’s soccer team’s shots on goal Saturday in a 1-0 loss to Hanover.
Moore finished with a pair of shots on goal as the Beavers were limited to just four for the game. Bluffton is now 7-9-2 overall and 4-4-1 in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Played for the Ohio Northern University football team Saturday in its 45-6 win over Marietta.
