By By Jennifer Tarter-
FORT RECOVERY — Areas outside the village hall are going to get rocked.
Village council members approved a $1,000 quote Monday from RT Rock Carpet to cover the sidewalk and wheelchair ramp at village hall with rock carpet.
Representatives from the Bluffton business, Randy Masterson and Ryan Tobe, provided council members with samples of rock carpet, which is a combination of crushed river rock mined in the United States and held together with an epoxy polymer that hardens to create a porous, nonslip surface. The carpet is installed over concrete and comes in 26 different colors. It costs about $8 a square foot, is salt and chemical resistant and comes with a 10 year warranty.
Village officials plan to pick a color this week.

The tower is planned to be built on the property of Jim Rammel, located at 367 Ashcraft Road.
