Shanks parents offer their thanks

To the editor:
On April 12, General Shanks Elementary School held its PTO Carnival. Parent and Teacher support for this occasion was abundant. The event requires a number of volunteers and widespread community support. The challenge was met and the PTO Carnival was a huge success.
I would like to thank the carnival committee: Nikki Lawhead, Carman Craig and Amy Klopfenstein. Other well-deserved thank yous go to all parents and friends of General Shanks Elementary who shared both their time and their talents.

Dependent on such generous school and community spirit, General Shanks Elementary was able to provide a fun-filled community event. Thanks again to all of this year’s supporters. We look forward to seeing you at our next carnival.
